About Oshwal Academy Mombasa – A Legacy of Excellence in Education

Oshwal Academy Mombasa, a premier educational institution in the coastal region, is proudly managed by the Oshwal Education & Relief Board (OERB). Founded to meet the need for quality secondary education in Mombasa, Oshwal Academy has evolved to offer a holistic learning experience that caters to students from Kindergarten through to Sixth Form.

Our Journey

In the late 1960s, the OERB recognized the demand for a secondary school in Mombasa, leading to the establishment of Oshwal Academy Mombasa on Mombasa Island in 1968. The Academy expanded in 1981 with the addition of a Primary School, which operated within the Senior School premises until moving to its own location in 1984.

As the school’s popularity grew, the need for a larger, state-of-the-art campus became clear. In response, OERB constructed a modern facility on a 14-acre site in the serene, green surroundings of Nyali. In 2004, Oshwal Academy Mombasa opened its doors at this location, providing an enhanced learning environment for students across all divisions: Kindergarten, Junior, Senior, and Sixth Form.
