Welcome to Oshwal Academy Mombasa website, we hope this experience marks the beginning of your child’s story with us.

Exploring a new school can be overwhelming. At Oshwal Academy our Admissions team will do everything we can to ensure this is an exciting time for you and your family. We invite you to experience the ways in which we are redefining education in the 21^st Century.

Whilst the academic year begins in September, students can join Oshwal Academy Mombasa at any time of the year.
In order to reserve a place for your child, you will need to download an application form from our website or get one from the Registrar’s office. You will then be required to return the application form duly filled with a copy of the child’s birth certificate, last report form and parents Identification Cards.

Once the form has been processed, the applicant will be required to sit an entrance exam and an offer will be made by the school in writing (depending on places available). Children who cannot be accommodated immediately will be put on a waiting list.

Admission Process & Requirements

Key Stage 3 and 4

Whilst the academic year begins in September, students can join Year 7- 10 in September and January. In order to reserve a place for your child, you will need to download and complete the application form as well as provide the following:

A copy of the child’s birth certificate.
2 passport sized photographs of the child.
Latest exam results.
Parents/guardians Identification Cards or Passport copies (both parents).
Parents / guardians passport sized photographs.
Certified copy of the school leaving certificate.
Students pass from the previous school.
Completed learner profile.

Once the form has been processed, the applicant will be requested to sit for an entrance exam. An offer will thereafter be made by the school in writing depending on availability. Children who cannot be accommodated immediately will be put on a waiting list.

Key Stage 5

Students can join Year 12 and Year 13 in September. A student who is interested in joining Key Stage 5 should download and complete the application form accompanied as well as provide the following:

A copy of the child’s birth certificate.
2 passport sized photographs of the child.
MOCK and IGCSE Examinations or its equivalent.
Parents/guardians Identification Cards or Passport copies (both parents).
Parents / guardians passport sized photographs.
Certified copy of the school leaving certificate.
Students pass from the previous school.

Entry to Key Stage 5 requires the students to achieve five credits (A – C) in their IGCSE exams, including Mathematics and English. Students who wish to join after completing KCSE examinations should have a grade of at least a C average. Once the form has been processed an offer will be made by the school in writing depending on availability.

Submission

Applicants need to submit all required documents along with the admission fee payment.

Interview

Eligible applicants will be called for an interview/entry exam, an offer will be made thereafter subject to availability of spaces.

School Uniform

Our Identity.

We take pride in our personal appearance and presentation. All students are required to wear the uniform with a badge in class and for games and Physical Education.

All Junior and Senior School students are required to wear their House T-Shirts on Wednesdays and during House Events in the spirit of promoting their house.
