On 12th May, the Cambridge Examination Board released its annual list of Award Winners for the 2019 June examination series. We are delighted to announce that Oshwal Academy Mombasa students won 6 out of the total Awards given, across the 3 disciplines of Mathematics, Languages and Humanities. The awards ranged from: High achievement, Top in Kenya and Top in the World, placing OAM 3rd overall in terms of the number of awards among the recognized International schools in Kenya.
OAM was recognized in the following subjects: Accounts and Economics at the GCE (AS level) as well as Mathematics, English Language and English Literature at IGCSE Level.
The three OAM students: Naman Shah, Kamran Sheikh and Shukan Mehta were recognized for their outstanding performances in the June 2019 Cambridge Assessment International Examinations. They cumulatively emerged top in Kenya in 4 Subjects, one high achievement (Accounting) and one in the world (Mathematics).
We wish to congratulate all our learners for their individual commitment to excellence. We recognize all the teachers who have worked hard to achieve this tremendous feat. We applaud the overwhelming support from the parents involved in the students’ learning as well as the support staff.
